One thing that is different in Venturing is that it is a Youth led program. This means that a Youth is involved in every part of the planning process. A typical leadership structure is composed of 4 main Youth positions (President, Vice President of Administration, Vice President of Program, Vice President of Communication) and 4 main Advisor positions (Advisor, Associate Advisor of Administration, Associate Advisor of Program, Associate Advisor of Communication). Throughout the Venturing journey Youth are required/recommended to take lots of trainings. The button below will take you to a page to access all the different types of trainings as well as training guides and other helpful information.
Board of Reviews are required to be conducted in order for a Venturer to receive before they can be awarded the Discovery, Pathfinder, and Summit Awards
